After returning from StarSeries i-League, MVP PK went on to secure their spot at the DreamHack Masters Marseille Asian closed qualifier, via the East Asia route.

The East Asia qualifier for DreamHack Masters Marseille featured 32 teams from Mongolia, South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong on SoStronk's platform, which took place on February 25-28.

A couple of notable teams failed to meet expectations, as they fell short in the qualifier including the weakened The MongolZ in the round of 16, accompanied by the Chinese-Mongolian-Thai roster 5POWER, who suffered a 0-2 loss against Born in Mongolia in the semis.

Back home from Kiev, solo and co. crushed the East Asian qualifier

MVP PK had a flawless run on their road to the grand final with convincing victories, without their AWPer Hae-Sung "⁠HSK⁠" Kim being present. Assistant coach and analyst of the team, Soon-Woo "⁠Argency⁠" Kwon, stood in for the team during the whole qualifier. HLTV.org have reached out to the Korean organisation for further details.

Led by the legendary WeMade Fox member Keun-Chul "⁠solo⁠" Kang, the 30-year-old's side faced off against Born in Mongolia in the final stage, with Argency and himself fragging hard at the top of the scoreboard, securing the series in 2-0 fashion, without dropping a single map in the qualifier.
